Fear is what holds us, what keeps us back, stops us from pushing forward. Fear stops us raising our hand, asking for help and it stops us from ever truly being alive.

 

We fear the thoughts of others will betray us.

We are fearful of what other people will think of us depending on the desicions we make. So we become people pleases, we jump on the band wagon and play the same tune as everyone esle - if I'm the same as the rest of them, they cant judge me - Right?

 

Fear consumes the life we should be living - fear of not fitting in. of not being accepted, of being too ugly, not funny enough, not rich enough, not smart enough, not cool enough, not. . . . . . enough. Why does fear have such a firm grip on the soul of humanity.

 

The Devil knows that if we fear Man - We can never fully fear God.

And the Devil knows, that if we learn to fear God, we will begin to know life - and life to it's fullest. So the Devil is always doing what he can to put the fear of Man in our hearts so we wont have room for the Fear of the Lord. "The fear of the Lord is the beggining of Wisdom" Psalm 111:10

 

Jesus said 'Why fear man, for man can only kill you, what more can man do to you other that that!? But fear the one, whom once your life is taken, has the power to throw you into the depths of Hell'.

 

Fearing God means understanding who He is, and realising He is bigger and more powerful than we could ever imagine, the creator of the heavens and the Earth, knowing each and every star by name and the number of hairs on YOUR head. He is the beggining and end of all things. Nothing exists that He hasnt made, and all things exist, even you, because he spoke it into existance.

 

Know God - Fear God - Reap the benifits of an abundant life and an eternity in heaven. The Lord God Almighty is Holy and Majestic, I stand in awe of His wonderous love and the power of his Word. His name is higher than any name - any King, any prince, any power or principality, the name of Jesus reigns supreme and those who Fear the Lord shall inherit eternal life.

Well its been a long time, most of this year actually! But here I am, I dont know how regular'ly i will be writing but I'm hoping to get on here once or twice a week -I guess we'll see.

 

So I've been married for 9 months Today! Yes Thankyou thankyou, I beat Britney. But seriously its great, having the time of my life with my beautiful and georgous wife.

 

Still working hard, playing hard and living hard - broke my collar bone again, snowboarding, happened about 8 or 9 weeks ago, all good now.

 

So how is everyone? When you think about your life, how do you feel in your stomach? What does your conscious tell about yourself? Who's saying what about you? Does your spirit tell you theres someting more to this existance?

 

Let me tell you, Whoever you are, I know someone who is deeply and madly in love with you and wants to be in a constant, intimate and loving relationship with you. God wants to adopt you as his own and give you the inheritance that he would give a Son.

 

Feel free to poke fun or ask questions, wether theological, intellectual, humerous or otherwise. The spirit inside of you was created by God and is designed to live forever, but where it spends eternity is a choice we can only make BEFORE we die....

Jesus is the same, yesterday, today and forever!

The Jesus who healed people when walking the Earth still heals people today.

 

Through a normal man, a floor tiler by trade, God is healing people - I'm one of them!

Ted Verner, a tradesman from Noosa has been given the amazing gift of miraculous healing. On Sunday night he came and spke in my church -Cafe Church, Nelson Bay. Through the power of the name of Jesus, he layed hands on peopke and prayed for them to be healed. Want to hear aboput the miracles?!?!

 

Myself, and numerous other who had back pain (due to a twisting of the spine) had our backs straightened out and the pain disappered.

A man who's ankle has been in pain for years was pain free and walking around!

A woman with painful lumps on her kneck - they're gone! Disapeared!

About 30 odd people were healed through the power of Jesus name and through prayer - And I saw it, And I experienced this. This is not a second hand story - i was there!

Well I'm now a married man, and quite happy about it too!

had an awesome time away with my new wife and have started back at wrk again and therefor have regained access to the internet. Unfortunatly I dont have as much time or access to a computer as I used to so posts will be iregular and widely spaced I would assume.

 

How was everybodys christmas, new year, time off etc?

Anything excitingly amazing happen?

 

What are your goals/dreams for this year?

Do those goals have eternal relevance? Our youth Leader spoke a great sermon on Sunday night about being focused on eternity and not on this world, i felt really chalenged to have a good look at my plans for the future and my gopals and dreams etc - why put so much time and effort into things that will fade and perish. Its important to God and therefore to you to be focused on the things that will last forever -souls.

that means building and maintaning relationships, fostering good character and moral standing, building up people instead of building up your cd collection.

 

When we focus on the destinatin, the journey doesnt seem so bad.

"...for our citizenship is in heaven..."

 

Its good to be back, I hope I can encourage you once more.

THIS COULD BE MY LAST ENTRY

Firstly,l as some of you may know - I go into a local High School each Friday at Lunch time to run a small bible study, we chat, talk about God and the bible and whatever else is on anyones mind.

Today is my last day for the year that I will be available for this ministry.Please pray that God will raise someone up to continue this important outreach.

 

Next weekend I'm off to Brisbane again to go to TAFE for 2 weeks so I'll probably be offline from the 18thNov till the 5thDec. Then I get Married on the 10th of December!!!! So I'll be Honeymooning for 4 weeks after that so it could be quite a while before any real entries come back onto this page - its with a heavy and saddened heart that I say I may not write again for quite some time. Thankyou to those who visit and comment, those who challenge and those who encourage, for the strength I have recieved and the teachings I have taken on board. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

A mans biggest struggle, his biggest opponent and temptation is in fact his strongest physical desire. Sex.

 

After talking about male sexuality and trying to remain pure and holy at Cell group last week, one of the young guys approached me, he said he needed a "chat" - yes....guys do chat!

 

The struggle this young guy is facing is one that ALL men face.

How far is too far?

How far CAN I go?

Is it REALLY a sin?

 

The bible is clear that God wants for us to abstain from sexual immorality, but what does that mean? Is that just no sex or does it include abstaining from other things too?

I beleive anything that gets your engine reving and your motor running is too far.

 

If you don't want to fall off the cliff - don't walk on the edge!

 

Instead of asking how far you CAN go, set boundaries of where you WONT go.

I cant speak for chicks but as far as guys are concerned, once the fire is lit it's incredibly hard to put it out! Dont allow yourself to be inthat situation, avoid circumstances where your fire is going to be lit and your flesh is going to try and take over. God promises he will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear, so saying "I'm just not strong enough to resist" is just an excuse, as valid as you think it is - before God, its lame.

 

The guys of this generation need to take a stand on sexual purity! Its damn hard and its the biggest trial you will face but the rewards will be much greater...

 

A word to the girls out there - if you dont want to fall off that cliff with you boyfriend, dont encourage him to walk onthe edge. Sexy clothes, a bit of cleavage and a bit of leg is all it takes for most guys. You see guys a wired up to be stimulated by what they see. Visual stimulation. So how you dress will have great impact on us guys - so help us, by what you wear.

 

But it comes down to self control and wether or not your serious about wanting to please God. If you really want to live your life for God, this is a good area to start showing it. Take a Stand, remain Holy.

THANKYOU all so much for your prayers, God was in my mind so much this weekend! No real intesne discussion arose between me and my mates but a few talks about church and stuff popped up here and there. I praise God that through the power of prayer I was able to resist the devil. Sure I had a couple of drinks and had a good time, but I was aware of the limit and the boundary and kept well inside the line.

     It was an excellent weekend, for those who like cricket it was a top day to sit back and watch the best of the best, it was good just hangin with the boys and havin harmless fun. I'm happy to say that not one of us went in to any srip clubs in sydney - this is good because every other trip we've done, the boys usually go into a dirty strip club "just for laughs" while I walk up the street and get a coffee in protest. But this weekend I didnt have to as I managed to convice them to stay out of that filth.

 

So as a whole I'd say it was a succesful weekend, I wasnt perfect, but I dont have to go away with the boys to realise that, "no one is good, not even one", but I stood tall in the midst of the world and I thankyou because it was your prayers and support that helped me. Bless you all
